The annual Yoga of Yarn Retreats are my favorite events and I'm so excited to be leading one in the Catskills next year.
The retreat takes place at Hemlock Neversink, a 230-acre boutique hotel and spa. Participants will enjoy yoga classes, open knitting with technical assistance provided as needed, stimulating fireside conversations about the role knitting plays in our creativity and overall wellness, plus plenty of time to enjoy the resort’s spa, indoor pool, hiking paths, and art studio, among other amenities, as well as optional side trips to a local fiber farm and a yarn shop. The breathwork, meditations, and yoga are tailored to knitters’ needs.
There are a few surprises planned for the retreat plus there is special guest, Melanie Falick attending. Melanie will lead conversations about the role creativity plays in our wellness as individuals and a society, and the stories our stitches tell.
There are more details on the retreat page, but below you will find some basic information.
