Wild Abandon: Part 2

In a previous post I wrote about a hat I knit without doing a gauge swatch, and I am pleased to announce the project is done! Not only is it completed, but I've been enjoying wearing it during cold winter/spring mornings.

Hats are projects that I love to make. I like knitting in the round, I find myself in a meditative mindset more often when I go in circles. It is a personal preference, and you may find flat knitting more calming for you. To me the craft of knitting isn't just about the number of stitches or even the stitch pattern. It is about what emotions bubble up or how calm I become as I create something with my hands.

Approach your next knitting project with wild abandon, trust your gut, and have some fun!

Happy knitting,

Liza
