Side-to-Side

Knitting for extended periods of time is a wonderful luxury and a great act of self-care. For some, all that sitting time can stiffen the body. Adding in a little bit of movement between rows helps to keep the mind and body fresh so it can move freely. In the long run, adding a few movements and meditations here and there can be a saving grace to those who find themselves with resistance in the body. When I keep up with my yoga practice and move with ease, I find my mind is clearer as well.


I made a short video for you, my fellow knitting yogis, to explore a simple side stretch between rows or hours of knitting.
